The Highlander is available exclusively as a double gate and requires 2.8m gate posts for the additional height and structural support. The high side of each gate rises to 1600mm, creating the distinctive elevated profile that sets it apart from a conventional rural gate.

The Sweeping Highlander Profile

The Highlander’s most recognisable feature is its sweeping outer edge, which rises gracefully towards the centre of the gate. This curved profile softens the substantial frame and gives the design a natural sense of movement.

The high side reaches 1600mm, creating a more imposing entrance than a standard rural gate. As a result, the Highlander brings a sense of grandeur without becoming overly formal.

Its generous proportions also draw the eye towards the gateway. Therefore, it works particularly well along long driveways, expansive frontages and established acreage properties.

The Highlander’s increased height and sweeping profile require the right supporting structure. A 2.8m gate post is required for this design, providing the additional support needed for the substantial double gate.

We glue and bolt each joint, using galvanised fixings to create a strong and durable frame. This construction supports the gate’s scale while keeping the natural timber character at the centre of the design.

Quality Hardware

We fit the Highlander with heavy-duty adjustable hinges and quality latching hardware for reliable everyday operation. The adjustable hinges also allow you to realign the gate if supporting posts settle or move over time.

Where additional containment matters, you can also incorporate rigid galvanised mesh into the gate design.
