OUR BEGINNINGS
Saltram Rural was born in the Central West town of Bathurst, out of necessity.
After months of searching for a fencing contractor to complete a medium-sized acreage project — with no success — it was quickly discovered that many others were facing the same challenge. We saw an opportunity to step in and meet that need with skill, work ethic, and expertise.
Drawing on a background in construction and carpentry that dates back to the mid-1990s, we have built our reputation on exceptional craftsmanship, reliable service and premium Australian timber products that enhance the character, value and presence of rural properties.
Specialising in handcrafted post and rail fencing, bespoke timber gates and distinguished rural entrances, our products are designed to create a sense of arrival while remaining true to the landscape around them. As demand for our premium Australian hardwood fencing and gates grew throughout the early 2020s, Saltram Rural evolved to focus exclusively on the manufacture and supply of high-quality post and rail fencing systems and custom timber entrances. Today, we supply property owners, builders, landscapers and contractors across Australia who share an appreciation for craftsmanship, authenticity and enduring rural design.
